The third season of One-Punch Man has received the green signal, so we have gathered all the necessary information about the upcoming season for the fans waiting for the show to air.
One-Punch Person Season 3 Release Date
Although the third season of One-Punch Man was scheduled to release in June 2020, it was pushed back due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and now it is most likely to release in Summer 2021. The pandemic should get under control by then, and thus the production process would be done quickly. Meanwhile, you can stream all the past seasons of the series online on Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. While Netflix and Hulu need you to have a subscription package to watch it, the series is available for free on Crunchyroll along with English subtitles.
The first season of the show aired from October 1, 2015, to December 20, 2015, in Japan, while the second season aired from April 10, 2019, to July 3, 2019. Each season consisted of twelve episodes, with each episode running for 25 minutes on an approximation. Judging by the number of episodes present in the last seasons, it seems like the upcoming season will have an episode count of twelve.
The show’s main characters include Saitama, voiced over by Max Mittelman, and Makoto Furukawa, Genos voiced over by Zach Aguilar, Garou voiced over by Greg Chun, and King voiced over by Rich Brown. There were several recurring characters as well voiced over by different artists.
One-Punch Person Season 3 Expected Storyline
The animated action-comedy fantasy, ‘One-Punch Man,’ basically follows the story of Saitama, who, after three long years of exclusive training, turns braver and stronger. He gets so powerful that he is considered unbeatable, bringing his opponents down on their knees, just by a single punch. However, Saitama is now frustrated due to his overwhelming strength, since he has lost the adrenaline and thrill to fight a battle which is not challenging enough for him. He continually looks for more formidable opponents. When Madame Shibabawa’s prediction of the Earth on the path of destruction begins to seem real, due to the increase in the number of monster incidents, Saitama starts to find his grip as an associate of the Hero Association by fulfilling his duties, alongside his faithful disciple, Genos. On the other hand, the man utterly fascinated by monsters, Garou, appears.
In the upcoming season of One-Punch Man, we may witness the Heroes Association set to launch an attack on their evil opponents. The major S-Class heroes will be seen infiltrating their hideout and battling a one-on-one. This above point indicates that the season will be packed with great action, filled with fight scenes. Saitama will not get more of the screen time in season 3 as well, along with Genos. After the defeat of Elder Centipede, the story will focus on characters including Atomic Samurai, Child Emperor, Garou, and some new monsters. However, if we follow the manga, Saitama will also be secretly taking part in the mission. Therefore we may expect to watch him for a little more time.
Since there is no official news about the third season of One-Punch Person, there isn’t any trailer out for now. However, we will keep bringing further updates to you. You can watch the trailer of season 2 for the time being.
