Since 1998, MTV’s popular reality series, ‘The Challenge,’ has worked like the staple for the platform, as not only the show has amassed a large number of viewers over the years, but also has developed a lot since the first time it aired. After successfully airing thirty-five seasons, the showmakers are all set to come back with a new season soon. The Challenge Season 6 Release Date
The long-standing American reality competition series, ‘The Challenge,’ has already been renewed for a brand new season. Though we do not know the official date of release, it is highly probable that the season will release in the second quarter of 2021. The season was renewed in early July, a few days before the previous season completed airing all the episodes. The production would have begun by now, only if the Coronavirus had not hampered the flow. The Challenge Season 35 premiered on April 1, 2020, and aired till July 29, 2020, having a total of eighteen episodes, with the special episodes of the reunion and behind the scenes being included. The last season has remained the highest-rated season of the series until now, which favored the show’s renewal again. The show’s special virtual Reunion episode was released on July 22, 2020, with Vernon Davis, the former NFL player, as their host, which was watched by over 0.78 million people on Zoom.
The series made its debut on June 1, 1998, on MTV, bearing the title, ‘All Stars’ with Cynthia Roberts, Sean Duffy, Eric Nies, Rachel Campos, and Jon Brennan as the winners. The last season was won by Johnny Devenanzio and Jennifer West, which was filmed in Prague, Czech Republic, Central Eastern Alps, Austria, which consisted of 28 contestants. The show aired one episode per week with the episodes having a screen time of 90 minutes per episode.

The sports reality game series ‘The Challenge’ is a spin-off of the reality-based show titled— ‘The Real World’ and ‘Road Rules’ in which the participants get to compete with the each other in several extreme challenges involving speed, strength, and brain, in order to steer clear of elimination and win the big amount. The show’s current host is T. J. Lavin, and the next season will probably be hosted by him again.
The veteran contestants of the show are Ashley Mitchell, Aneesa Ferreira, Cory Wharton, CT Tamburello, Dee Nguyen, Kyle Christie, Johnny Devenanzio, Jenna Compono, Jennifer West, Josh Martinez, Jordan Wisely, Kailah Casillas, Mattie Breaux, Melissa Reeves, Nelson Thomas, Nany Gonzalez, Rogan O’Connor, Stephen Bear, Tori Deal, Tula Fazakerley, and Wes Bergmann. The contestants’ list for the upcoming season has not been revealed yet, as the showmakers are still working on it.
