Ableton Live 11 Launch, Price and System Requirements
Ableton Live 11 Launch Date
If we talk about the release of Ableton Live 11, it is expected that the software will be launched in the first quarter of 2021. Ableton Live 11 is going to come in three editions Live 11 Intro, Live 11 Standard and Live 11 Suite. According to the official site, Live 11 Intro will be priced at 99 US dollars, Live 11 Standard is priced at 449 US dollars, while Live 11 Suite will be priced at 749 US dollars. The standard and the suite editions will have additional features that will not be available in the intro edition. Other than that, they share common features.
Ableton 10 Live is the latest version of the software, which is already in use by a vast number of people. With the upcoming version, a lot of new features will become a part of the software, along with the features available in the older versions. The upcoming version will allow the users to record, comp, link more than one track to edit simultaneously, and add more emotions to the music with the help of MPE – Capable Controller. It will be supported by sounds with a better way of expression, taking inspiration from nature, allowing experimentation with latest devices including— Hybrid Reverb, for real-time sound designing; PitchLoop89, to produce outlandish vibrato, jittery glitch effects, and delayed digital shimmers; Spectral Resonator, to process the content in key; and Spectral Time, to produce metallic echoes, reverb-like, frequency-shifted, and washed-out effects.
With the updated version, we can have a note expression view and perform more on the stage by taking macro snapshots to create instant variations to the sound during a performance. We can also adjust the tempo based on real-time incoming audio or even convert the Live into an FX box, which is tempo-synced. We can configure our Racks with Macros ranging from 1 and 16 to create drastic changes to the performance instantly and surprise the audience. One thing that the audience love the most during a live performance is when something unexpected and unpredictable happens, like a change in the notes, or a change in the velocity for some improved and subtle variations; or by working more on the Follow Actions, which lets the user create interesting sequences of the sound clips.
Working with new sounds in Ableton Live 11 using new instruments is one of the software’s wonderful features. A String Quartet, Upright Piano, and Brass Quartet will let us bring in dynamic chamber orchestra textures to the performance.
