The latest episode of Loki, titled “Breaking Brad”, continues to charm audiences with its intricate web of mysteries, Easter eggs, and cameos. The show’s intricate storyline follows Loki and his ally Mobius as they navigate the Time Slip, finding themselves in 1977 London, where they encounter Brad Wolfe, a character with a traumatic past and a monstrous alter ego. This nod to Marvel Comics is just one of the many references that pepper the episode, including the move posters that adorn the sets, which feature Kingo, a character from the Eternals, serving as a reminder of the character’s existence within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As the show delves deeper into the mysteries of the multiverse, it becomes increasingly clear that the consequences of the characters’ actions are far-reaching and devastating. The massacre perpetrated by Wanda against the Illuminati will likely be swept under the rug when she returns, but B-15’s emotional reaction serves as a poignant reminder that even a branched timeline in the infinite multiverse holds countless lives. Meanwhile, the episode teems with hidden references and cameos, including a cameo by the TVA’s Hunter X-5, who has abandoned his post to live a life of luxury on the sacred timeline.

The timeline reaches critical mass, causing factions to splinter as the TVA prepares for the impending arrival of Kangs. As the series hurtles towards its climax, it is impossible to ignore the sheer scale of the multiverse and the infinite possibilities that lie within. The show’s complex world of mystery and intrigue has audiences eager to anticipate the next installment and the secrets it will reveal.

Werewolf by Night is set to receive a re-release on Disney+, and it is possible that we may see a Marvel Studios Special Presentation of The Zaniac in the future. With Brad Wolfe’s alter ego remaining a fleeting cameo on a theater marquee, and his radiation-fueled transformation into the monster unlikely to appear in the remaining episodes of Loki, it is natural to wonder if there is room for the true Zaniac within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the series continues to weave its complex web of mystery and intrigue, audiences are left eagerly anticipating the next installment and the secrets it will reveal.
