Bravo has officially announced the cast for Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and it’s packed with familiar faces and new names. Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, and Cynthia Bailey are all returning, with three new cast members joining the mix. Fans of the reality TV show have been eagerly anticipating the new season, especially after Kandi Burruss announced her departure from the show.

Season 16 will bring a fresh dynamic to the series, as veteran housewives Drew and Cynthia take on new roles. Drew will be a full-time housewife, while Cynthia has been demoted to a “friend of the show.” Meanwhile, three new faces have been announced to join the cast: Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley. Eady is a podcast host, author, and CEO, Ferrell owns a restaurant, and Oakley is a real estate agent and wife of NBA player Charles Oakley.

Shamea Morton Mwangi, a longtime “friend of the show,” will also be joining the cast as a full-time housewife. Mwangi has been a fan favorite since her introduction in Season 5 and has a strong bond with Porsha Williams.

In addition to the new cast members, Season 16 will also feature the return of veteran housewife Drew Sidora, who hasn’t been on the show since her divorce from Ralph Pittman. Fans are likely to be intrigued by how she navigates her single life and rumored romance with Ty Young. Cynthia Bailey will also be returning in a “friend of the show” role, bringing an old-school vibe to the series.

The new season is set to begin filming in May 2024, with a premiere date expected in 2025. Fans can catch up on previous seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock.
