The long-awaited sequel to the 2007 sci-fi thriller, I Am Legend, is still in its nascent stages of development. Director Francis Lawrence, who originally brought the post-apocalyptic story to life, will return to helm the project alongside Will Smith, who reprises his role as Dr. Robert Neville.
While the collaboration between Smith and Jordan is generating excitement, fans will have to wait some time for production to begin. The release date remains unconfirmed, with the script still under review. Little is known about the sequel’s plot at this stage, except for the returning director and writer.
