Bandai Namco Filmworks, one of the producers of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, released a new preview trailer for the second cour of the third sequel on their YouTube channel on June 8, 2024.
The trailer offers a sneak peek into the upcoming episodes, previewing the theme songs and introducing new cast members.
The trailer begins with a flashback to the start of the fight between Rimuru Tempest and Hinata Sakaguchi, transitioning into a preview of Hinata enjoying the hospitality of the people at Jura Tempest.
The latter half of the trailer focuses on showcasing the theme songs for the second cour and introducing new cast members, including their voice actors. The trailer concludes with a spotlight on Rimuru Tempest.

The opening theme for the second cour, titled “Renacer Serenade,” will be performed by Momoiro Clover Z, while the ending theme song, titled “Miracle Soup,” will be performed by MindaRyn.
Both artists have a history of contributing to anime series, with MindaRyn having previously performed theme songs for the first season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, among others.
New cast members joining for the second cour include:
Elmesia El-Ru Sarion, voiced by Hisoka Kanemoto (known for Zenith from Mushoku Tensei)
Momoji, voiced by Moe Kahara (known for Fuuko from Undead Unluck)
Masayuki, voiced by Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (known for Zenitsu from Demon Slayer)
The first cour of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 adapted the Saint-Monster Confrontation arc, revealing the Seven Days Clergy and the Rozzo family as the masterminds behind the conflict between the Western Holy Church and Lucelius.
The core of the story revolves around the battle between Rimuru Tempest and Hinata Sakaguchi, ultimately leading to their alliance against the Clergies.
With the upcoming adaptation of the Founding the Demon Capital arc in the second cour, fans can anticipate further developments in Rimuru’s journey and the expansion of the series’ rich lore.
