The latest Nielsen charts have revealed the most streamed shows in America, revealing a strong affinity for drama, comedy, and family-friendly content. Suits, a legal drama that aired on Netflix and Peacock for nine seasons, has captured the hearts of many viewers, with over 561 million minutes watched. The show follows a talented lawyer and his partner as they navigate the complexities of the legal world, keeping his past and lack of a law degree a secret.

Reba, a sitcom that premiered in 2001 and ran for seven seasons, has experienced a resurgence in popularity, with over 629 million minutes watched. The show revolves around the life of Reba Hart, a mother forced to come to terms with her husband’s infidelity and the revelation that he’s having a baby with his dental hygienist.

NCIS, a popular crime procedural, has also made the list, with over 695 million minutes watched. The show has been running for an impressive 21 seasons, spawning several spin-offs along the way. The thriller drama Evil, which investigates supernatural occurrences, has also gained significant traction, with over 719 million minutes watched.

Family Guy, the adult animated series, continues to entertain audiences with its unique blend of highbrow and lowbrow humor. The show has been running for 25 years, winning nine Primetime Emmy Awards in the process. Other popular shows on the list include Bob’s Burgers, a quirky sitcom about a family-run burger joint, and Young Sheldon, a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory that follows the early life of the lovable Sheldon Cooper.

Family-friendly content dominated the list, with Bluey, a popular children’s series about a puppy and her family, making the top 10 with over 1.07 billion minutes watched. Grey’s Anatomy, a long-running medical drama, also made the list, with over 1.1 billion minutes watched.

Bridgerton, the romantic drama that premiered on Netflix in 2020, has emerged as the clear winner of the latest Nielsen charts, with over 2.19 billion minutes watched. The show has charmed audiences with its opulent settings, complicated family dynamics, and witty one-liners, cementing its position as a favorite among American streamers.
