Netflix’s Latest Batch of New Releases Scores Big with Viewers

Netflix’s latest batch of new releases has scored big with viewers, with a number of titles making their way to the top of the charts. One of the standout titles is the action flick “Trigger Warning”, starring Jessica Alba, which has taken the top spot on the charts with an impressive 25.7 million views since its premiere. The movie tells the story of Special Ops agent Parker, who takes on a violent gang connected to her father’s death. The film’s success marks Alba’s return to the screen, with fans clearly missing her presence on Netflix.

Another notable title is the animated movie “Ultraman: Rising”, which has garnered a notable 8 million views. This is a standout achievement for a standalone installment of a Japanese franchise. The vampire movie “Dracula Untold” has also made waves, racking up a respectable 6.7 million views. Rounding out the top 5 most-watched titles are “Inheritance” and “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1”, both of which have been extremely popular since their debut on the platform.

On the TV series front, Season 3 of “Bridgerton” has taken the top spot, adding an additional 16 million views to its run. Fans have been binge-watching the entire series, with Season 1 being the third most-watched title and Season 2 being the fifth. “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” has also made the top 10 most-watched series, with over 2 million views. The reality series “Perfect Match” Season 2 has raked in 3.6 million views, while the final season of “Sweet Tooth” has accumulated over 3 million viewers.

Polish thriller “Inheritance” was a standout, with over 10 million views, while French thriller “Under Paris” has also racked up another 10 million views. Streaming users were drawn to monsters, from the mythical creatures of “Kleks Academy” to kaijus in “Godzilla: Minus One”, which has now enjoyed its fourth week among the most-watched titles. In the non-English TV series zone, several titles debuted among the most-watched, including “Gangs of Galicia”, “Love Is Blind: Brazil”, “Miss Night and Day”, and “Kota Factory”. These titles instantly resonated with audiences, prompting binge-watching sessions around the world. Anime fans also continued to flock to “Demon Slayer”, which has accumulated over a million views on the platform.
