Melissa Gorga is making her position clear: she does not want to be a part of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey if her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice returns to the show.
It is widely known that RHONJ is undergoing changes for Season 15, which could potentially involve a complete cast overhaul or a significant cast shakeup.
While the future of the current housewives remains uncertain, Gorga recently disclosed in an interview that she does not want to be involved in a toxic environment.
“Given all the rumors circulating, I am prepared for anything,” Gorga stated on the Two T’s In a Pod podcast. “I think it’s clear that [Giudice] and I are two very different personalities.”
She added, “If Bravo chooses to pursue a darker direction or whatever it may be, then I must say, ‘That is not a show I want to be on,’ which is truly how I feel.”
Gorga also expressed, “I want to be on RHONJ, but I do not want to be part of that toxic environment. As long as she is there and that situation persists, I wouldn’t consider it a loss.”
The RHONJ cast has reached a point where they seem unwilling to resolve their issues or move past their conflicts.
The situation became so dire that Bravo decided to cancel the reunion and instead filmed the cast separately, capturing their responses to the Season 14 finale.
Although Gorga hopes for a future on RHONJ without Giudice, Giudice has made it clear she has no plans to leave the show unless Bravo decides otherwise.
“No, I’m not leaving. I started the show, and I’ll leave when Bravo wants me to,” Giudice stated on Live with Kelly & Mark.
