A Still From One Piece Anime (Via IMDB)

As the Wano Country Arc of One Piece concludes, the fans have gained a deeper understanding of the variety of devil fruits. This arc introduced new, powerful devil fruits and revealed that Luffy’s Paramecia devil fruit is actually a Mythical Zoan-type.

In One Piece, there are three types of devil fruits: Paramecia, Logia, and Zoan. Zoan fruits grant users the ability to transform into animal forms and have three forms: Human, Beast-Human, and Beast. Unlike Paramecia or Logia, Zoan-type devil fruits are considered to have their own will, choosing their owners before consumption.

One such Zoan devil fruit is the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard, which allows user Rob Lucci to transform into a leopard form. The fruit grants immense stamina, speed, and strength, resembling an actual leopard. In episode 1100, Lucci undergoes a hybrid transformation, showcasing his beast-human form and black aura.

Another Zoan devil fruit is the artificial devil fruit created by Vegapunk, which allows user Momonosuke to transform into a dragon. This artificial fruit embedded the powers of Kaido’s Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, allowing Momonosuke to manifest deadly attacks like Bolo Breath and Flame Clouds.

The Wano Country Arc also showcased several major antagonists, including Queen, the user of Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Brachiosaurus. This ancient Zoan devil fruit transforms its user into a prehistoric Brachiosaurus, granting immense size and strength. Queen utilized the powers of this devil fruit, giving a tough fight to Sanji.

Other Zoan devil fruits mentioned include Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, which allows user Yamato to modify itself into a hybrid wolf, and Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon, which allows user King to undergo Pteranodon transformation, granting the ability to fly and land air-to-surface attacks.

Marco, the user of Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix, is another notable character who possesses an incredibly rare mythical type of devil fruit. This fruit grants Marco the powers of a Phoenix, allowing him to regenerate at an exceptional rate, fly over large distances, and even enhance the recovery rate of others.

The article also touches on the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, which allows user Kaido to undergo the transfusion of an Azure Dragon, exemplifying fierce powers like Heath Blast and Tatsumaki. And finally, it mentions the Five Elders, who are the top authorities of the World Government and are said to possess mythical Zoan devil fruits.

The Wano Country Arc has given fans a deeper understanding of the variety of devil fruits, their unique abilities, and the characters who wield them.
