The film’s official trailer was released on April 16, offering a Look into its exploration of complex relationships and existential crises.

The film boasts a talented ensemble, with Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn leading the cast. Johnson, known for her versatility in films like “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “A Bigger Splash”, brings her acting prowess to the role, while Penn, a two-time Oscar winner, adds depth and complexity to the film. As the conversation becomes increasingly emotionally intimate, viewers become deeply invested in the stories of the two characters.

The film’s production is equally noteworthy, with Hall at the helm, having previously created the Netflix series “I Am Not Okay With This” and co-written the script for the upcoming adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestseller, “It Ends With Us”. The cast and crew worked diligently to bring the story to life, shooting in just 16 days in New York City and Hoboken, New Jersey, while utilizing innovative technology, including on-set virtual production, to create its unique visual terrains.

With its talented ensemble, thought-provoking themes, and cutting-edge production, “Daddio” is poised to make a lasting impression on audiences this summer, marking its release date of June 28, 2024. Johnson and Penn’s performances are expected to resonate with viewers nationwide, as the film explores the human connection and the fragility of relationships. The culmination of years of work, “Daddio” is a poignant portrayal of human connection, set to leave a lasting impact on audiences this summer.
