Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan will always have “Please Please Please.” The couple has decided to part ways after one year of dating, according to multiple reports.
An insider shared with Us Weekly that they do not expect the pop star, 25, and Saltburn actor, 32, to reconcile, especially since they had previously broken up once before.
A source told People magazine that the two are “both young and career-focused,” suggesting that their different professional paths have led them in separate directions.
Both are thriving in their careers. On December 4, Spotify revealed that Carpenter’s song “Espresso” was the most-streamed track of 2024, with over 1.6 billion streams worldwide.
She is also starring in her own Netflix special, A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter, which is set to premiere on December 6.
Meanwhile, Keoghan has been busy promoting his film Bird this fall, as well as filming Peaky Blinders with Cillian Murphy for Netflix. Since the breakup announcement, he was spotted on the set of Crime 101 in Los Angeles.
Here’s a look back at their brief but memorable romance, including their hard launch as a couple (with a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired appearance in her music video) and their earlier breakup.
