Kylie Kelce is sharing the amusing reason behind her decision to have a fourth child. In the Thursday, Dec. 19 episode of her podcast Wave Sports + Entertainment’s Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, the expectant mother of three revealed why she and her husband, retired NFL player Jason Kelce, chose to expand their family once more. The couple already shares three daughters: Bennett, 21 months, Elliotte, 3, and Wyatt, 5.
“Jason has always been like, ‘I’ll do whatever you want to do,’ and I’ve always leaned toward wanting four kids, with room for one pleasant surprise,” said Kylie, 32, on her podcast. “We reached three, and I thought, ‘Three is great. This feels right.’”
Kylie then shared the moment she reconsidered: “We got past the difficult baby-sleeping phase, and I thought, you know what? I really like even numbers,” she joked.
While she’s thrilled about baby number four, Kylie doesn’t see their family growing any further.
“I think this might be it after this one,” she said. “Once we have this next baby, I’ll probably be like, ‘Don’t even look at me. Keep your eyes on the floor. Don’t even think about it.’”
In November, Kylie announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post, sharing the exciting news with her followers.
“I feel like this picture perfectly captures how each of the girls feels about getting another sister,” she wrote in the caption. “At least Ellie, Mom, and Dad are on the same page! ”
The accompanying photo showcased the three girls in matching “big sister” sweaters, each displaying a different reaction. Wyatt, 5, cupped her hands to her head with a look of disbelief, Elliotte, 3, beamed joyfully, and Bennett, just 21 months old, was pictured crying.
