Tom Parker’s widow, Kelsey Parker, is expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Will Lindsay.
“Tom and I always talked about having four children, but life took a different path,” Kelsey, 34, shared with the U.K.’s The Mirror in an interview published on Sunday, January 26. “So while this is an amazing moment, it’s also bittersweet.
The excitement of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life is mixed with the thought, ‘Things could have been so different.’ I’ve experienced every emotion possible.”
Kelsey was married to Tom—best known as a member of the boy band The Wanted—until his passing in 2022. At the time, Tom was 33 and battling an inoperable brain tumor. He is survived by Kelsey and their two children: Aurelia, 5, and Bodhi, 4.
Following a period of mourning, Kelsey eventually found love again with Lindsay, a 27-year-old tree surgeon, last year. The couple now live together in what was once her family home with Tom.

“Tom and I had a home together where we raised our children and got married. We moved into my current house in September 2021, and Tom was only here for eight months before he passed—but I feel like he chose this place for me,” Kelsey told the British publication.
“Will moved in gradually. There wasn’t a specific moment—it just happened when it felt right for all of us. Right now, we have no plans to leave, and we’ve made this house our home.”
Kelsey described her pregnancy as a “happy accident” and revealed that she and Lindsay have yet to find out the baby’s sex.

“We’re still undecided on whether we’ll open the sex reveal document. We’re just going to go with the flow,” she explained, adding that she believes Tom has given his blessing from beyond.
“I’m very spiritual, and so is Will. Especially after losing his dad, he believes in signs from loved ones, just like I do—and I’ve received so many from Tom. Will has seen them too. He doesn’t think I’m imagining things.”
Kelsey also shared that Tom remains an important presence in their household, as she and Lindsay often talk about him. Their daughter Aurelia even suggested naming the baby “Parker” as a tribute to her late father.

“For me, I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I’m just trying to focus on happiness,” Kelsey said. “My children have been my strength through the hardest times, and now I feel blessed to be expecting another.
If I let myself dwell on all the pain, I wouldn’t be able to move forward. Tom was my soulmate, and I’m still angry that he’s gone. But I can’t live in grief forever—Tom wouldn’t want that for me.”
She also shared that she had informed Tom’s mother, Noreen, about the pregnancy, and the reaction was filled with warmth and support.
“Tom’s mum gave me her blessing right away,” Kelsey said. “She’s so excited to welcome another grandchild. All that matters to me is that both our families, including Tom’s, are happy.
Noreen is an incredible woman. After Tom passed, she told me, ‘As long as you’re happy, Kels, we will always support you.’ We’ve all been through so much together.”
