Sean Baker’s Anora, the Oscar winner for Best Picture, will be available to stream on Hulu starting March 17, according to an announcement from the streamer’s official Instagram account.
The film dominated the 97th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre, taking home the most trophies of the night. Mikey Madison won Best Actress for her performance in the titular role, while Baker secured three additional Oscars—for Best Director, Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay.
With four wins, Baker tied Walt Disney’s long-standing record for the most Oscars won by a single person in one night.
Distributor Neon has a partnership with Hulu, which also holds streaming rights for A Real Pain, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin. Culkin won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film.
Anora was originally released in theaters on October 18, 2024, following its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21 of that year.

Anora
The film won the prestigious Palme d’Or at Cannes, marking the second time Neon has taken home the festival’s top honor, following Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite in 2019.
At the Academy Awards, Anora secured one more Oscar than Parasite, which won four for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film. Meanwhile, Bong Joon Ho’s latest film, Mickey 17, is set to hit theaters on March 7 after premiering at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival.
After winning Best Director, a category presented by Quentin Tarantino, Baker expressed gratitude to the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director for casting Madison in his 2019 film, as that led Baker to seek her out for Anora.
Anora follows Mikey Madison as Ani, a young sex worker from Brooklyn whose life takes a dramatic turn when she meets and marries the son of a Russian oligarch after just one week together in Las Vegas.
However, her Cinderella-like story is soon threatened when news of the marriage reaches Russia, prompting her husband’s parents to take action to annul the union.
