The Traitors Season 3 Finale Winners Reveal How They Spent Their Prize Money

The Traitors Season 3 Finale

The Faithfuls stayed true to one another in The Traitors season 3 finale, splitting the prize pot among the last four contestants standing.

As a result, winners Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron, Ivar Mountbatten, and Gabby Windey each walked away with a share of the $204,300 grand prize in the March 6 episode.

“You’ve got to live with yourself,” Mountbatten, 61, tells, explaining his decision not to banish anyone at the fire pit. “The money in this great scheme of things, it’s not huge.

In 20 years’ time, you’re going to have your memories, and would you really want to know that you diddled somebody over for a few thousand extra quid? It’s how you get there rather than the money.”

Efron, 33, says he did some “quick math” and determined that eliminating another contestant wouldn’t have been worth it. “If we would’ve got rid of Dolores, let’s say, and finished with the three of us, that’s $17,000 extra each — after taxes, $10,000,” the travel influencer explains. “So I’d rather be friends with everybody.”

For Efron, a triathlete, his share of the winnings went toward something practical. “I moved out of my one-bedroom little studio and now I’ve got a guest room and a dishwasher,” he shares. “I’m still learning how to use it!”

Mountbatten decided to use his portion of the prize money to support his 28-year-old daughter, Ella, one of the three children he shares with ex-wife Penny. “

The eldest and the youngest both went to university, so I paid for their school fees. The middle one is a paramedic, so she’s gone on a different course,” the royal family member explains. “She wants to get a camper van and travel around a bit, and I feel that she was a bit short-changed, so, I said I’d do that.”

Catania also plans to put some of her winnings toward family—specifically, her son Frankie, who recently got engaged to Nicole Perricho.

“I was going to buy myself something, and that’s not happening because my son got engaged, so now I have to put that towards that,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 54, tells.

Catania also plans to donate part of her winnings to Halfway Home animal rescue and a shelter in Patterson, N.J.

“The fact that I won is my gift,” she says. “I’m a f—ing winner. Get out of my way, I won The Traitors! Don’t f— with me.”

After returning from filming in Scotland, Catania, the first Traitors winner from a Bravo series, went straight from the airport to her mother’s house for a home-cooked meal. “My mother had it waiting for me fresh,” she says of the spaghetti and meatballs that greeted her upon arrival.

Mountbatten cherished reuniting with his husband, James, and their dog after filming, while Efron was eager to soak up some sun.

“I was so excited to get sunshine because we were indoors a lot, it was raining a lot,” says the Down to Earth with Zac Efron star and producer. “So I went immediately into the Pacific Ocean, jumped in, got sunshine, and started a routine. I was back in the gym and I was happy as I could be.”

Despite the excitement of returning home, Efron misses the friendships he built in the castle. “It’s so fun to live a life like that where we’re all in this crazy experience together,” he says. “Now we’re back in the real world, and it’s always a little sad to say goodbye to the people that we were just with. This was the experience of a lifetime for me.”
