Rebel Wilson’s Bride Hard, a high-octane wedding comedy with an action-packed twist, has officially locked in a wide release date for this summer.
Bob Yari’s Magenta Light Studios will roll out the film nationwide on June 20. Directed by Simon West (The Expendables 2, Con Air), the movie reunites Wilson with her Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp.
The ensemble cast also features Anna Chlumsky (Inventing Anna, Veep), Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers), Gigi Zumbado (Heart Eyes), Stephen Dorff (True Detective, The Righteous Gemstones), and Justin Hartley (Tracker, This Is Us).
Wilson stars as Sam, a secret agent facing her most challenging mission yet—ensuring her best friend (Camp) has the perfect wedding.
However, when a group of mercenaries storms the extravagant destination wedding and takes the guests hostage, Sam must fight back while maintaining her cover and making sure the big day isn’t ruined.

As the battle unfolds in the midst of a picture-perfect celebration, she begins to suspect that the true danger might be coming from within. A first-look image is available above.
“Packed with comedy and high-energy thrills, Bride Hard is sure to entertain everyone that has ever attended a wedding,” Yari said.
“Seeing the unexpected duo of Simon West and Rebel Wilson team up makes for a uniquely fun collaboration that audiences will love experiencing on the big screen this summer.”
The film was produced by Balcony 9’s Joel David Moore (Immaculate Room, Some Other Woman), along with Colleen Camp (Above Suspicion), Cassian Elwes (The Butler), Max Osswald (Immaculate Room), and Jason Ross Jallet (Big Gold Brick).
The project was developed in partnership with WME Independent, Copper Island Films, and Latigo Films.
