The Bachelor Season 29 Finale, Who Did Grant Ellis Choose in The End?

‘The Bachelor’ Season 29 Finale: Grant Ellis’ Final Rose Goes to …

Grant Ellis has officially wrapped up his journey on The Bachelor, and the Season 29 lead has found his perfect match.

However, reaching the engagement wasn’t without challenges. Ellis faced a tough decision between his final two women, Litia Garr and Juliana Pasquarosa, struggling to determine who he wanted as his lifelong partner.

Seeking guidance, he turned to his parents, who reunited in the same room for the first time in years to meet both Garr and Pasquarosa during the ABC reality show’s finale.

Ellis Proposes to Juliana Pasquarosa

In the end, Ellis chose to part ways with Garr and offered his final rose to Pasquarosa. The proposal took place in Punta Cana, where Ellis got down on one knee, and the two are now happily engaged.

A Season Full of Tough Choices

Ellis began The Bachelor Season 29 with 25 contestants, handing his first impression rose to Alexe, a 27-year-old pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada.

By the time hometown dates arrived, he had narrowed his choices down to four women: Garr, Pasquarosa, Dina Lupancu, and Zoe McGrady.

Lupancu was eliminated after hometowns, and McGrady was sent home after fantasy suite dates, where Ellis spent the night with McGrady, Garr, and Pasquarosa.

“All I can say is casting did a really good job with these ladies—they’re one of a kind,” Ellis told TheWrap in an interview.

“It really was difficult for me at the end, just because I had two amazing women. And at the end of the day, I went with my heart.”

Reunion and Moving Forward

The finale also featured a reunion between Ellis and Garr, where they had an honest conversation about his decision. Garr admitted she felt blindsided but ultimately acknowledged that Ellis made the right choice for himself.

After the proposal was revealed, Ellis and Pasquarosa joined host Jesse Palmer to announce that they are moving to Boston and are enjoying their engagement. To celebrate, Palmer surprised them with a trip to Italy.

Franchise Changes and a Sneak Peek at Bachelor in Paradise

Beyond the on-screen drama, The Bachelor franchise has been experiencing significant behind-the-scenes changes.

Showrunners Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner exited the franchise ahead of the Season 29 finale amid reports of a toxic work environment.

Additionally, ABC has skipped the traditional production cycle for The Bachelorette, which typically airs during the summer.

Before the finale wrapped, fans got a first look at the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, which is set to return this summer after a one-year hiatus.

This season comes with a major twist, as Palmer revealed that cast members from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette will be joining the fun in Mexico alongside their younger counterparts.

This marks the first major change for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, which will be led by new showrunner Scott Teti, an executive producer from Summer House.

Where to Watch

The Bachelor Season 29 finale will be available to stream on Hulu beginning Tuesday.
