The Norwegian actor Peter Stormare joins the cast of Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole series

Peter Stormare, the actor who gained recognition for his role as Gaear Grimsrud in the iconic film Fargo, has officially joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming crime series Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole. The highly anticipated series is based on Nesbø’s acclaimed novels about Detective Harry Hole, and will feature an impressive ensemble cast, including Stormare alongside actors Joel Kinnaman, Tobias Santelmann, and Pia Tjelta, as well as newcomers Anders Baasmo, Ellen Helinder, Simon Berger, and Kelly Gale. The show is a whodunnit serial mystery that follows the efforts of Detective Harry Hole, a brilliant but troubled investigator, as he works alongside a corrupt cop, Tom Waaler, to track down a serial killer. Hole’s unique approach to crime-solving and his troubled inner demons will undoubtedly create a compelling dynamic as he navigates the complex and suspenseful plot.

Stormare’s versatility as an actor, demonstrated in his past roles in shows such as Prison Break, suggests that he will bring a new level of depth to his character in Detective Hole.
