Bruce Willis’ family is embracing gratitude this Thanksgiving season. On Thursday, Nov. 28, Willis’ daughters Tallulah and Scout shared heartwarming photos on Instagram featuring their father holding a gift labeled “Best Dad Ever.” The sisters simply captioned the post, “Grateful.”
The Die Hard actor is a proud father of five daughters: Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, and Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, with his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.
Earlier this week, Tallulah posted a nostalgic throwback photo of herself with her parents, Bruce and Demi, from six years ago, adding the caption, “I love this photo of me and my parents!!! How cute!! At Rumer’s 30th.”
The family’s bond remains strong, as evidenced by Rumer’s recent remarks about her parents’ enduring connection. She shared in an exclusive interview, “They still love and support each other.”
Celebrations and Togetherness
The tight-knit Willis-Moore family also recently celebrated Demi Moore’s 62nd birthday on Nov. 11. Scout honored her mother on Instagram with a heartfelt message:
“Happy birthday to my constant inspiration, source of unwavering love, guidance, support. … I cherish you and every moment that I get to spend with you @demimoore, it’s a privilege to be your daughter.”
Bruce Willis’ Health Journey
In March 2022, the family revealed Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia, a condition that affects communication. This year, in February, Emma confirmed that Bruce had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a progressive neurological disorder.
Emma, 46, opened up about going through Bruce’s condition in an October interview with Town & Country.
She explained her approach to keeping their daughters informed about their father’s health challenges:
“This disease is misdiagnosed, it’s missed, it’s misunderstood, so finally getting to a diagnosis was key so that I could learn what frontotemporal dementia is and I could educate our children,” Emma said.
“I’ve never tried to sugarcoat anything for them. They’ve grown up with Bruce declining over the years. I’m not trying to shield them from it.”
Love and Resilience
Despite these challenges, the family remains resilient. In August, Rumer responded to a fan’s question about her father’s well-being, expressing her enduring affection: “He is great, I love him so much. Thank you,” she wrote.
Their gratitude, love, and unshakable family bonds shine through as they go through both joyful and difficult moments together.
