Justin Baldoni’s mother, Sharon Baldoni, spoke about the significance of “justice and truth” on her son’s birthday, referencing his ongoing legal dispute with actress and It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.
“Happy Birthday, Justin ~ remembering a wonderful moment after the final ending of Jane The Virgin,” Sharon shared via Instagram on Friday, January 24, alongside photos from Justin’s time on telenovela.
“[It was] a moment where joy and love filled the set, where friendships and family were forged, and kindness and integrity were at the heart of all the actors and crew. The only sadness came from knowing it was the final scene of a beautiful journey—the beginning of the rest of our lives.”
Sharon recalled the 2019 Jane The Virgin series finale as a moment of “happiness, love, and generosity, with hearts brimming with possibilities.”
“Life brings unexpected moments and surprises—but when you stay true to your integrity, justice and truth will shine today and for eternity,” she concluded. “I love you more than you will ever know! Happy Birthday, my beautiful boy! May God continue to bless you in truth.”
Justin Baldoni’s Family Guide
Justin, who turned 41 on Friday, is currently embroiled in a highly publicized legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.
Following the film’s release in August 2024, Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against Justin, alleging sexual harassment and claiming that he fostered a “hostile work environment.” She further accused him of orchestrating a targeted PR campaign to damage her reputation.

Justin has strongly denied the allegations and, in response, filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively.
According to court documents obtained earlier this month, Justin’s legal team argued that Lively was “determined to paint [Justin] as the real-life villain in her story” in an attempt to distract from her own allegedly “tone-deaf” promotion of the film. (In It Ends With Us, which Justin also directed, the two portrayed a couple in an abusive marriage.)
Shirtless Justin Baldoni Enjoys Hawaiian Getaway Amid Blake Lively Drama
“This latest lawsuit from Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and its associates is yet another example of the classic abuser playbook,” Lively’s legal team told in a statement earlier this month.
“It’s an age-old story: A woman comes forward with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation, and the abuser tries to shift the blame. This follows the well-documented DARVO strategy—Deny. Attack.
Reverse Victim and Offender. Wayfarer has chosen to leverage the resources of its billionaire co-founder to issue media statements, file baseless lawsuits, and threaten litigation to cloud the public’s understanding of what is really happening—retaliation against sexual harassment allegations.”
Amid the legal turmoil, Justin has been leaning on his loved ones.
“We’re just grateful to be with family, man,” he told photographers on January 17 in footage. “We have amazing friends, family, and faith.”
