Taylor Swift made a brief appearance on the Jumbotron during the 2025 Super Bowl, only to be met with a loud chorus of boos from Philadelphia Eagles fans.
Swift, 35, appeared puzzled by the reaction, turning to her friend Ice Spice and asking, “What’s going on?” (The Kansas City Chiefs players were also booed as they entered the stadium.)
Serena Williams, a longtime Swift supporter, quickly came to the singer’s defense on social media.
“I love you @taylorswift13,” Williams, 43, wrote on X Sunday night. “Don’t listen to those boos!!” Williams, a known Swiftie, has often shared her love for the singer alongside her daughter Olympia.

Swift attended the Super Bowl with Ice Spice, 25, the Haim sisters, Ashley Avignone, and her family, including her parents and brother Austin. The group watched the game from a private suite at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome, cheering on Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
As always, Swift made a stylish statement, wearing a white blazer, matching over-the-knee boots, sparkling shorts, and a red “T” chain around her neck—a piece she originally wore draped from her thigh at the Grammys earlier in February.
Taylor Swift’s Reaction to Frequent Camera Focus
Swift and Kelce, both 35, have been dating since summer 2023. After going public with their romance in September of that year, Swift became a regular at Kelce’s games.
However, frequent camera shots of the singer during NFL broadcasts have drawn criticism from some fans. Swift, however, remains unfazed.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she told in December 2023. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
She continued, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

Swift reaffirmed that she is happy to publicly support Kelce and his career on the football field.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care,” Swift said.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
Ahead of the Super Bowl, Swift and Kelce joined Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, for a double date on Friday, February 9.
The following evening, Swift went to dinner with her parents, the Haim sisters, and Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce. Jason and Kylie Kelce were also seen in the family suite on Sunday, showing their support for the big game.
