Megan Fox has big plans for her future after welcoming her first child with ex Machine Gun Kelly.
“She has a renewed sense of confidence since being apart from MGK and after the baby she will be focusing on a career comeback,” a source close to the actress exclusively told. “The baby is the greatest gift to come from the relationship.”
Fox, 38, began dating MGK (real name Colson Baker) in March 2020 after they met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass.
At the time, Fox was still married to Brian Austin Green. By June of that year, Green announced the end of their 10-year marriage, and it was confirmed that Fox and Kelly were “officially dating.”
The couple got engaged in January 2022, and in November 2024, they announced Fox was expecting their first child together. (Fox is already a mother to three children—Noah, Bodhi, and Journey—whom she shares with her ex-husband. Kelly has a daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.)
Megan Fox Has A Lot of Love for MGK
The couple quietly split the same month Fox announced her pregnancy.
“She believes that while they may not have been meant to be together, she was meant to bring his child into the world,” the insider told regarding Fox’s perspective on her pregnancy and the breakup.

“Her children are her greatest blessing and far more important than any fleeting or destructive Hollywood relationship.”
The source added, “She is looking ahead with excitement, ready to welcome her baby and focus on the future.”
In the latest issue, a source explained that the soon-to-be coparents “don’t talk at great lengths but have exchanged a few texts.”
“[She] doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him,” the insider continued. “MGK wants to get back together with Megan, but she’s told him she is done for good.”
How Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox Are Coping With Their Split Amid Pregnancy
Shortly after their quiet split in November 2024, an insider told that despite their relationship struggles, they had been “trying to make it work again after the pregnancy.”
“But they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting,” the insider explained. “They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”
That same month, another source told that Fox’s pregnancy did not play a role in their breakup. Instead, the decision to part ways was reportedly due to deep-rooted issues within their relationship.
