Eddie in 9-1-1 (Via IMDB)

In the upcoming episode of 9-1-1, Eddie is struggling with his newfound feelings for Kim, who bears a striking resemblance to his late wife Shannon. As he tries to keep his emotions under wraps, Kim begins to pick up on his unusual behavior, and in a new sneak peek, she confronts him about it.

As they spend time together on a lake, Kim gently mocks Eddie’s lingering gaze, asking if he’s figured out why she seems familiar to him. Eddie pretends he doesn’t know what she’s talking about, but Kim is determined to get to the bottom of it. She explains that she was a series regular on a TV show called Failed System, a short-lived drama about a team of lawyers fighting to free wrongly accused prisoners. The show only lasted 13 episodes before being canceled, but Kim reveals that sometimes people still recognize her from the show, even if they don’t remember her name.

Eddie acts impressed by Kim’s acting background, but she presses on, unsure why he’s so drawn to her. She hints that maybe it’s because she reminds him of someone from his past, but Eddie is quick to change the subject, downplaying his feelings by saying he simply likes looking at her. Kim seems to accept this, but it’s clear she’s not convinced.

Meanwhile, Bobby is struggling with the prospect of receiving a Medal of Valor for his heroism during the cruise ship disaster. The episode explores his inner turmoil, as well as the emotional challenges faced by Hen and Karen as they navigate their fostering journey. Don’t miss the drama unfold on a new episode of 9-1-1, airing tonight at 8 PM on ABC, or streaming on Hulu.
