Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Explosive Return to Action Comedy

Action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in the spotlight, starring in the new Netflix series FUBAR, a high-octane action comedy that brings his signature brand of explosive action and self-aware humor. In the show, Schwarzenegger plays a retired CIA operative who’s called back for one final mission, surrounded by a talented ensemble cast including Travis Van Winkle, Milan Carter, and Fortune Feimster. The co-stars have spoken highly of working alongside the action legend, describing him as down-to-earth and treating everyone equally, making it easy for them to ask him questions about his illustrious career.

The co-stars also shared their favorite Schwarzenegger movies, with Van Winkle praising Last Action Hero, Feimster enjoying Kindergarten Cop, and Carter loving Jingle All the Way. They also discussed their favorite episodes of the series, with Carter praising Episode 7 for its relatable moments, Feimster enjoying the emotional arc and comedic moments in Episodes 8, and Van Winkle appreciating the action-packed Episode 3.

The production of FUBAR was also a topic of discussion, with the co-stars raving about the impressively built sets, which included a train, plane, and Turkish prison. They also revealed that filming was done out of order, with Episode 6 being the last one shot, and discussed the challenges they faced during production, including technical difficulties and timing issues.

When asked about his experience working on other projects, Van Winkle spoke about his time on Road House, praising director Doug Liman’s directing skills and the opportunity to work with star Jake Gyllenhaal. He also hinted that the new Road House film will take the original’s story in a new and exciting direction.
